This site exists for one simple reason

To think out loud about technology, AI, and leadership, and to share what I’ve learned after spending three decades building, fixing, and leading tech teams.

I write about AI not as hype, fear, or sci-fi fantasy, but as something very real that organisations are already struggling to understand and apply. I write about technology from the perspective of someone who has lived through mainframes, client-server, the web, cloud, microservices, and now AI, and has the scars to prove it. And I write about leadership because, in the end, tech only works when people do.

This isn’t a tutorial site.
It’s not a sales funnel.
And it’s definitely not a “Top 10 AI Tips” content farm.

What you’ll find here are observations, opinions, practical lessons, and the occasional strong take on where technology is heading. And of course, what that means for engineering teams, managers, CTOs, and boards.

In April 2026, I’m relocating to Melbourne as a permanent resident. This site is part of how I introduce myself to the Australian tech market: not via buzzwords, but by showing how I think, how I reason, and how I connect technology to business reality.

If you’re a recruiter, headhunter, or hiring manager:
this site should give you a clear sense of how I approach complex problems, how I communicate, and what I value in modern technology leadership.

If you’re here for the content:
grab a coffee, have a read, and feel free to disagree. Good conversations usually start there.
